I had to share the cuteness of these new Bendel dolls created exclusively for Henri Bendel Boutique by celebrated international doll designers Gina Garan (of 'This Is Blythe' fame and Christina Gordon of Jamfancy fame... Each doll is 17” tall and available in a limited edition of 250 (individually numbered). Priced at $68 a piece they're pretty reasonably priced too considering the low number produced :)

As a dolly mom do you feel that we you are constantly serving your girls demands for new outfits?
Well now, with the help of designer Margaux Lange, your dolls can adorn you (although if your Barbie is watching you may want to cover her eyes now!).
I can completely relate to Ms Lange's experience of Barbie as 'An invaluable tool for the expansion of my imagination as a child, ironically, Barbie continues to be such for me as an adult.'
Although of course, in my case this applies to dolls in general although Barbie has played a major part.
It is not surprising then, that Ms Lange continues to find inspiration from her muse today in this beautiful, thought provoking and striking jewellery collection.
To see more (which I would heartily recommend) and to learn more of the artist please visit her site by clickong on the pic :)
In this ongoing saga the witness taking the stand today was Bratz creator and fromer Barbie designer Carter Bryant.
According to Toy News Online, while admitting that he had signed a contract with Mattel giving them all rights to his creations, he didn't have "much of an understanding" of it at the time, and that employees working on side contracts was commonplace in the company.
You may know that I'm a bit of a fan of the indie game Fashion Cents by My Game Company (that's the name of the company... they're not actually my game company haha!)
I've been playing the game for years and recently a "Deluxe" updated version was released... you can see us playing it here!
Well, what should arrive in my email inbox this morning, but the news that they have now released a fashion designer pack with full instructions on how to create and submit your very own designs to the game allowing yourself and others to have a whole plethora of new outfits and accessories!
Here's the announcement from the email:
MY GAME COMPANY

Part 4 in the instruction manual also tells you how to import your own custom add-ons (or add-ons created by other players) into Fashion Cents Deluxe. So even if you don't want to create your own add-ons, you'll still want to get the kit so you can expand your dolls' wardrobes with fan-created content.
Your account will allow you to download not only the Fashion Designer Kit but also the add-ons that other players create/upload to the forum. With your account, you may also upload your own creations and share them with other players, as well as participate in all of the forum discussions, polls, and events.
