Christmas bounty revealed!!!
Anyway, enough chat here are the goodies...

Nooo silly... not those goodies!!! The Christmas goodies!
Here's what I got :)
My new Primadolly Ashlette Blythe. She has a very strong personality and told me right out of the box that her name is Squirrel (!?)...
Here she is cosplaying Kaylee from Firefly. She will not wear anything else at the time of typing O.O!
Chip also got me this teensy weensy miniature baby doll:
And also made all this lovely miniature food that the mini Blythes have been feasting on!
And although not strictly a doll, I love my Punzel, Satsuma:
I also got a new camera that's not as good but a lot more portable than my other camera and will fit in my handbag or pocket with ease.
Little Miss P got tons of Sylvanian Families stuff as well as:
The much longed for Pinky Dal
Plus a mini baby and handmade food from Chip...
Even The Man got a doll of sorts in the form of this very cute crocheted Cthulu (also courtesy of Chip):
So yeah, so many dolls and so little time ^-^!
Hope Santa was good to you too!

Final design for the new Primadolly Blythes!

Date Available: December 5, 2008.Price: 8,400 yen.
I'm glad they've decided to make new versions of these Primadolly favourites. Violetina's hair has me swooning! It would have been nice if they'd used the radiance mold for Ashletina and Violetina though, otherwise there's not a whole lot of difference from the originals :(
Cute girls though, and this is not doing anything to quell the urge to search for and open my Christmas prezzies while my hubby is working =D
24 days to my Ashlette!

Yet more incredibly limited and unattainable Blythes *sigh*
I'm loving Marigold's hair but as she's limited to a run of 1000 dolls available only to CWC Complete members living in Japan I guess she's a little out of my league!
The petite is LE also available only from the traveling event "Blythe Styling Situation", Junie Moon, Blythe official mobile site (Japan only) and CWC Group On-line Shopping.
Click on the pics for the full story... I don't have the heart to type... (and other assorted melodrama, lol!).
Actually, I'm only really annoyed because I have to wait until Christmas until I can open my own Primadolly Ashlette who is nicely wrapped and stashed in the wardrobe out of my reach.... why must my husband be so deviously tall!?

New Blythe World Tour Announced!
This year's theme is "Fashion Obsessed" and Blythe will be a jet setting stylist "Coco Moon" who travels internationally, stopping off with various hosts who have stepped forward to take care of, photograph, ship and create a gift for the touring doll at their own expense.
At the end of the tour there traditionally is an exhibit in Tokyo organized by CWC/Junie Moon displaying all the gifts she collected along her way. This year her gifts will be auctioned for charity after the show.
You can follow this fun and exciting event via the flickr group at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/880662@N21/

Sandwich day dolly animation...
Errrrm... well... no. Actually it isn't. But it's as good an excuse as any to experiment with dolly animations. So here is the premiere of my very first EVER animation, 'Dolly Sandwich' (drum roll please)...
Okay, so it's not exactly Aaardman, but it is a start. And it does have a dolly in it so it can't be all bad *grin*...
