Simple and free Tiny Betsy McCall sewing pattern

I've been experimenting sewing for my Tiny Betsy McCall over the past few days. I managed to buy a pattern for a whole wardrobe, but it looks a bit daunting to me as I'm more used to winging it with my sewing!

I was very happy then to find the following article on Bella Online with a pattern and full instructions to make this simple dress to fit Tiny Betsy and other 8 inch dolls...

If you click on the pic you should go straight to the appropriate page ^-^!

And while we're on the subject of Tiny Betsy McCall, my Peggy has dicided that she doesn't want to be Peggy anymore. Her name is now 'Bunty'. :)

Evanesence Amy Lee inspired new dress for plus sized paper doll

If I could own any dress in the whole wide world, it would have to be the tartan dress worn by Amy Lee from Evanesence in the video for 'Call Me When You're Sober'.

I love everything about it. Since I can't own the *actual* dress then, I decided to make one... in paper at least!

New paper doll - plus sized curvy girl Libby with leopard print dress

Leaporddressplussizeddolljpg

I have been busy making a new paper doll today. She's closer to my own shape than that of the Padme doll and is very sweet and sexy :)

She has a leopard print dress and shoes available seperately on my site.

You can print her out by visiting: http://www.dinkydivas.com/printablepaperdolls.htm

New outfits will be made available for her soon. I might have to rethink the hand positions though... hmmmm.

It frustrates me that they don't seem to make any really pretty plus sized dolls, but at least I can make my own paper dolls :)

Hope you like her anyway!

New paper doll outfit - cinema usherette

Just lately I have been putting a lot of hours into a new(ish) time management game, Megaplex Madness. Today I'm celebrating because I finished the game in hard mode. I thought I'd finally be free of the game, but it turns out there's a new 'insane' difficulty mode unlocked now! Will I ever get my life back!?

Anyway, it's a really great game and to mark my modest achievement I have produced this Cinema Usherette outfit to fit the padme paper doll :)

Crochet a cute angel doll - free pattern!

Apparently today is the feast of the guardian angels in Catholic tradition, I was looking for some cute crafts to share with my little girl and happened across this very adorable crochet angel pattern. I have no clue how to crochet so it's no use to me (I'll have to get my talented brother to teach me!). I thought someone else might be able to use it :)

Please click on the picture to visit the pattern.

New Doll Dress-Up game on my website :)

Well we have been very busy bunnies here at DinkyDivas putting in place our very first drag and drop doll dress up game, featuring Diva of the moment, Apple herself!

Sorry that it's still a bit errm... shall we say... unpolished looking, and the outfits are currently limited, but I think it's a reasonable prototype anyway:)

Currently it only seems to work in Internet Explorer and not Firefox though, which is a problem I am looking into. But hopefully I should complete a Kisekae version soon as well as a printable version for those who enjoy REAL paper dolls :)

Hope you enjoy anyway!
